Learning and mastering the English language is one of the indicators of academic and professional success for students, as it is the language of science, technology, scientific research and E-Commerce, and it is also the language of study in international institutes and universities. Perhaps the necessity of mastering this language lies in the fact that it is a tool of communication between peoples and the key to foreign cultures, and whoever possesses it can communicate with others and influence other cultures. The English language enables the individual to respond to the challenges of increasing knowledge and technological development. However, it constitutes an asset that adds to the student’s mental stock and develops his linguistic intelligence.

The Olympiads came to be the real tool and incentive for interest in the English language in a correct and fun way. This is to improve language skills by forming teams that cooperate with each other to find creative scientific solutions and serve their local community. Within a purposeful competition that enhances communication, cooperation and teamwork skills within an entrepreneurial project to achieve the general goals of learning.

The great interest of Arab and European universities towards improving the English language skills of their students was the real motivation towards launching the 2024 English Language Olympia for Universities at the global level. This year’s Olympics are expected to attract approximately 150 teams / 1,000 participants from all over the world.
